One of our main feature events, the Burns Supper, will be held on Saturday 23th January 2016 in the wonderful Princes Ballroom at the Midland Hotel, Bradford. Reception will be from 6.45 pm for a 7.15pm prompt start. In keeping with the tradition for the Burns Supper, dress code is Lounge Suit or Highland Dress. Carriages 12.30 am.
The programme will feature the traditional Address to the Haggis, the Immortal Memory, Toast to the Lassies and the Lassies’ Response, plus Burns’ songs and poems. There will also be a full programme of dancing, which will be accompanied by the ever-popular music of Ian Slater.
We will be holding a raffle in support of the President’s chosen charities. As always, all donationsof raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
The Ticket price has again been held at £30 and these are now available from the Society Secretary via the recent circular. Members’ Guests are positively welcomed at this popular event. Would members please apply as early as possible to ensure your table. For enquiries contact her on 07973 632925
