One of the Society’s main feature events, the annual Burns Supper, will be held on Saturday 27th January 2018 in the Princes Ballroom at the Midland Hotel, Bradford. Reception will be from 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm prompt start. In keeping with the tradition for the Burns Supper, dress code is Lounge Suit or Highland Dress. Carriages 12.30am.
The programme will feature the traditional Address to the Haggis, the Immortal Memory, Toast to the Lassies and the Lassies’ Response, plus songs and Burns’ poetry. There will also be a full programme of dancing, which will be accompanied by the ever-popular live music of Ian Slater.
We will be holding a raffle in support of the President’s chosen charities. As always, all donations of raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
Incredibly, we have managed to hold the price for this fabulous event at last year’s price of £30 per head.
All members will have received details from the Secretary and should reply to her as soon as possible but no later than Thursday 18th January 2018.
