Members and their friends are invited to attend the Society’s annual country walk and Sunday Lunch organised and led by Peter & Maggie Fleming. This year, the walk starts (10.30am) and finishes in the car park of the White Lion pub in the village of Kildwick and traverses the moor, taking in the Jubilee Tower with wonderful views over the Aire Valley. Boots or stout walking shoes are recommended. For those less energetic, there are alternatives along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. After the walk, members can enjoy Sunday Lunch at the White Lion from 12.30 onwards. If you cannot manage the walk then please join us for lunch.
