The Society’s annual walk will be held on Sunday 4th August starting from the Busfield Arms Pub, Main Road, East Morton, BD20 5SP at 10.30am.
The walk is about four miles and is a gradual climb out of the old village, up to a beautiful reservoir, past the ruins of a long derelict mill and out on to the pasture land above. The return is down ancient walled tracks and back to the village for lunch. Boots or stout shoes and waterproofs required, and a stick can be useful. Dogs are welcome!
Lunch, for walkers and non-walkers, will be at the Busfield Arms at 1.30pm. We need a clear indication of how many will be coming and your menu choice and it would also be helpful to Peter & Maggie to know who would like to do the walk, meeting at 10.30.
